They say faith without works is dead. Yes. Ofcourse it is. But if you don’t keep believing, you will probably never act on those things that are good and true. You will probably never take the steps you need to progress. Perhaps because you just don’t believe there is any reason to keep going. If you just keep believing that there is a better way, if you keep believing that you have the strength to make it through rough times, if you believe that tomorrow will be better than today, then you just might do the works you need to do. Keep believing and go make it happen.

This time of year, many people are spending time with their families but some people are depressed. They feel they don’t have enough gifts and material things to make the season bright. If you have any resources give a random gift to a stranger or help a family in need. Do something for someone else. Make the holiday season bright for whoever crosses your path and stay safe.

We have to stick together. I have been feeling really emotional on this evening. Thinking about all the things I should be grateful for.
Love you and May God Bless you and yours.
Let’s face it. You’re gonna make mistakes. You are going to fail sometimes. You’re gonna screw something up. It’s just human nature. You are going to fall. The challenge is to make your self get up. Try again until you get it right. Perhaps change your strategy based on your past failures. Figure out what works. It is humiliating to dwell on the wrong, but if you learn from it and change your strategy, failure can be a good thing.
Happy July 4th. Love ya!
Please add me on facebook.

What does the first day of summer mean to you? It’s a wake up call. Time is passing. Today the North Pole is tipped more toward the sun than on any other day of 2012. There will be lots of daylight here. Lot’s of time to get it right today. I’ll be spending time enjoying the sun, working and of course doing music. Any words of inspiration are welcome here. Thanks. Let’s keep in touch.
Lately, I find myself asking for help and relying a bit too much on other people. After all, we all need each other, don’t we? But This morning I tell myself: It all boils down to self-discipline. Decide what you need to do. Acknowledge temptation. Just decide that you will resist it. Write the temptation down on a piece of paper. Ball it up and throw it away or burn it. Decide that today, your life is your own. No apologies. No excuses. No one to blame. No one to rely on. Today it is just you and yourself. Say that you are strong. List the actions you need to take. Take them. Just do it. Then get up tomorrow and do it again.
It seems so easy for some people to try something new. They seem fearless. Not me. It is difficult to go outside my comfort zone. I have been trying to get rid of my fear. Spending a lot of time trying to overcome it. It is so much easier to just stay in a job or circumstance that you know, even if it is not really what you want. My new strategy: Experience the fear. If I don’t, I will be frozen, and I will never try anything new.
Without creativity, I don’t think the world would be fit for anyone to live in. Creativity is like fire. That thing that inspires you in a nonstop, consistent, and persistent way. When it is in you, it burns. It spreads. You have to create when you feel the urge. If you don’t, it feels off balance. Unhealthy. Once you start, it catches on fire, again. Sometimes destroying old ideas in its path. I wrote a song the other day, just out of the blue. I felt a breeze come my way and I bet it came from God, something powerful, that’s for sure. It’s why I want to stay alive. What’s your fire?
Please download this song, Fire.

No matter what happens, you have to use your talent to the fullest. It doesn’t matter if you have 5 people following your blog or 5 million people. You have to share your talent with much care and enthusiasm. I have to sing my heart out regardless of how many people show up to the event. Whatever it is that you do, sweeping a floor, writing a book, designing clothes, being a parent, being a cashier, running a business, doing art, photography, music, etc; do it well. Give it your best shot. Don’t bury it.
“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not… Education will not…Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent…”
— Calvin Coolidge
